The Data Controller hereby informs you about its practices regarding the processing of the personal data you provide when contacting us, as well as your rights related to data processing and the possibilities for enforcing those rights.

In the course of our activities, we pay special attention to the protection of the personal and special categories of data submitted to us during the necessary data processing operations. Data processing includes any operation or set of operations performed on data, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, use, alignment or combination, blocking, deletion, destruction, and preventing further use of the data. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, as well as any conclusion that can be drawn from the data regarding the data subject.

The personal data provided on the website is processed by the Data Controller exclusively for the purpose of contacting you.

Your rights regarding personal data

You have the right to:

  1. You may request information from the Data Controller at any time during the processing period about how your personal data is handled. The Data Controller will provide written and easily understandable information within the shortest possible time, but no later than 30 days from your request, including which personal data is processed, the purpose, legal basis, and duration of the processing, and—if your data has been transferred—the recipients and the purpose of such data transfers.
  2. You may receive confirmation and access regarding whether your personal data is being processed, and if so, you are entitled to access the data and the essential related information, including the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients to whom the data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, your rights (rectification, deletion, restriction, objection), the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, and the source of the data if it was not collected from you. The Data Controller will provide a copy of the personal data being processed, provided this does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
  3. You may request rectification or completion of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data concerning you without undue delay. Taking into account the purpose of the processing, you are also entitled to request the completion of incomplete data, including by providing a supplementary statement.
  4. You may request the deletion of your personal data without undue delay if any of the applicable legal grounds for erasure apply (for example, if the data is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected, if you withdraw your consent and no other legal basis applies, if you object to the processing, if the data was unlawfully processed, or if deletion is required by EU or national law).
  • the personal data is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected or otherwise processed;
  • you withdraw your consent to the processing and there is no other legal basis for the processing;
  • you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing;
  • the personal data has been unlawfully processed;
  • the personal data must be deleted in order to comply with a legal obligation under applicable EU or national law.

The right to erasure does not apply to data that the Data Controller processes for the performance of a contract, for compliance with a legal obligation, or on the basis of a legitimate interest.

  1. Upon your request, the Data Controller will restrict the processing of your personal data if:
  • if you contest the accuracy of the personal data;
  • if the processing is unlawful and you oppose the deletion of the data and instead request the restriction of its use;
  • if the Data Controller no longer needs the personal data for the purpose of processing, but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims;
  • if you have objected to the processing.

If the processing is restricted, such personal data—apart from storage—may only be processed with your consent, or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for important reasons of public interest of the Union or of a Member State.

  1. You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to the Data Controller, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and you also have the right to transmit those data to another Data Controller without hindrance from the Data Controller to whom the personal data were provided.
  2. You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data based on the Data Controller’s legitimate interest. In such a case, the Data Controller shall no longer process the personal data unless it demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or which relate to the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

The Data Controller shall inform you without undue delay, and in any case within one month from the receipt of your request, of the actions taken in response. If necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests, this deadline may be extended by an additional two months. The Data Controller will notify you of any such extension, together with the reasons for the delay, within one month of receiving your request.

 

Remedies

If you believe that the processing of your personal data is unlawful, you may initiate an investigation procedure under Section 52 (1) of Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information by contacting the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (mailing address: 1530 Budapest, Pf. 5.; e-mail: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu). In addition, if the legal provisions on data processing are violated, you may bring the matter before a court against the Data Controller.
