Gábor Jakab

Jaw-specialist, physiotherapist, medical masseuse

Introduction

From a young age, when I used to massage my father’s aching shoulder, I experienced how good it feels to ease someone else’s pain. That was when I decided that I wanted to work in a helping profession, and I became a medical masseur. Later, my own musculoskeletal problems set me on the path of taking the knowledge I had gained as a masseur to a higher professional level, and I chose physiotherapy as my vocation.

As a medical masseur, I developed my manual skills to a high level, which is especially important in treating temporomandibular joint complaints. Proper relaxation of the head, neck, and masticatory muscles makes TMJ treatment faster and more effective. In jaw therapy, I combine the pain-relieving manual techniques in my hands with the high-quality expertise I have acquired as a physiotherapist.

With the combined strength of TMJ physiotherapy and medical massage, I help relieve jaw pain and frequent headaches, and support improving overall quality of life.
